Scope and methodology
Each record combines one reporting owner's purchases and sales in one company on one day. Other transaction types appear on the insider's page.
Records include Form 4 transaction codes P (purchase) and S (sale) of the issuer's shares. P and S cover open-market and private transactions alike. When a person bought and sold on the same day, the record shows both amounts separately; the value column is then the gross of the two.
Owned after is the shares-owned-after figure the filing reports for that ownership line. Option exercises (M), tax withholding (F), grants (A), gifts (G) and derivative transactions are listed on the insider's page for each company.
